Features of the AWS Mobile App
To use the AWS Mobile App, you need an existing AWS account. After logging in with your credentials, you can select the region you want to manage. The app allows you to stay signed in to multiple identities simultaneously.
For security, it's advisable to secure your mobile device with a passcode and use IAM (Identity and Access Management) credentials to log in. If your device is lost, the IAM user can be deactivated to prevent unauthorized access. Note that root accounts cannot be deactivated via the mobile console. For added security, especially when using AWS Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), it's recommended to use either a hardware MFA device or a virtual MFA on a separate mobile device.
The current version of the app is 1.14. There’s also a feedback link in the app’s menu where you can share your experiences or ask questions.
